About Yassira

I am from Kazakhstan, a country where we speak two languages: Russian and Kazakh. But I don’t think that learning languages is a skill you can only be born with. In fact, I dare to think that anyone can achieve incredible results and speak as a native if there is a person who encourages them and supports them along the way!
I am a polyglot, I speak 4 languages.
Last one of them, Italian, I have learned in 7 months and then passed a test for B2 level.
I have been learning English for 9 years now, and passed IELTS twice.
The latter result was 8.0 (C1, almost C2) with a 3 month preparation.
Moreover, I have spent the last year in an English speaking country, where my study and exams were held in English.

About the lesson

Hi there!
My name is Yassira and currently I am an international student in Europe. The reason why I am highlighting this is because I want you to know that I know my way around languages:) I have been learning and practicing English for almost 9 years now, since my mom realized that the fact that I could not spell the word “apple” in my 3rd grade could be a problem and signed me up with a tutor. That’s why I know how crucial it is to have someone who can help you and make your journey less lonely while you are doing something new! I will help you improve your speaking, build confidence and start feeling the language, not just speaking it. With my help you will be able to start using English in daily life, talk to new folks and find new friends!
Since I am a polyglot (yeah, I speak Russian, Kazakh, English and Italian), I have spent quite some time trying to come up with a method that would make studying more efficient and enjoyable. And I finally found it! I can share it with you too, to save you the next 9 years:)
To sum up, I hold my lessons according to YOUR preferences, we can learn vocabulary while watching Friends or Supernatural, develop strong speaking skills through real dialogue, discussing what really matters to you and improve grammar with flashcards and easy explanation. My main goal is to make you stop overthinking every one of your sentences, and for you to get so comfortable with it so you can speak as a native!
