About Amara
With over 5 years of experience as a singing tutor, I love helping students explore the art of vocal harmony. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), which shapes my understanding of vocal cultures and traditions. My passion lies in vocal arrangement and building rich layered harmonies. I guide singers in creating lush vocal textures for ensembles and recordings.
I teach styles including A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B. Lessons emphasize vocal blending, harmony stacking, and creative arranging techniques. Students also learn how harmonies work in modern recording environments. These skills strengthen both performance and musical understanding.
I work with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals. Lessons also cover improvisation, composition, music history, and music technology. My singing teaching style focuses on building strong voices that work well in group harmony. Students learn important fundamentals such as breath control, pitch stability, and tone clarity.
