About Daria
I am a Canadian teacher and I graduated in English Literature in Rome. I have a CELTA teaching certificate and 3 years of professional experience with adults and teenagers. I love Italy passionately. To discover the wonders and secrets of "il bel paese" I read modern books written by Anglo-American authors. And so my project The Italian Book Club was born.

This club is suitable for adults or teenagers of levels B1-B2-C1.
First of all, we choose a famous book in English that speaks of Italy with an individual student or a small group. With the first group I taught we read Frances Mayes' "Under the Tuscan Sun". With the communicative methodology we learn by working in pairs and we dedicate time to all the skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Based on the book, we will cover vocabulary topics and grammar rules. Online lessons will be conducted on the Zoom platform twice a week. There will be materials prepared specifically for the course saved in a Google folder. There will be written assignments to be completed on GoogleDocs in a shared document.
