About Rosario

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a focus in Finance, from the University of Alberta. I've been tutoring high school students in math and physics since I was in high school myself. Numbers have always come naturally to me, and I’m confident I can help you feel the same way. I've attached a YouTube video to give you a glimpse of how my online classes work. Let’s make math easier together!

About the lesson

I first explain the lesson while constantly engaging with the student to check if they understand. Once I have gone through the lesson, I run the student through many practice problems to test their skills and knowledge. If the problems are done poorly after I will implement new strategies to help the student understand in the easiest way possible.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
From an early age, mathematics has been a captivating subject for me. Its inherent challenges were akin to solving intricate puzzles, which I found not only intellectually stimulating but also deeply enjoyable. The intuitive understanding of mathematical concepts came naturally to me, fostering a love for the subject.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
My passion for mathematics stems from its omnipresence in our surroundings, allowing us to quantify and understand the world. I find fulfillment in the practical application of mathematical principles to solve real-life problems and make informed decisions.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
Tutoring provides me with the opportunity to impart knowledge and share effective mathematical techniques with students. Witnessing their growth and development into astute individuals is immensely rewarding. In my perspective, a "Superprof" is characterized by unwavering commitment, punctuality, meticulous lesson planning, and an unyielding dedication to the student's success. Reliability and effective communication are integral aspects of this commitment.

During my formative years, my role models were predominantly my sports coaches.
