About Allen
Hello, my name is Allen Michael Adamson and I'm from Hanford, California. I strongly believe that I have the necessary qualifications to teach or Tudor because I‘ve earned a university degree and I’ve earned teaching credential.
I have two years of experience as a substitute teacher with the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and eight years of experience with Kings County Office of Education.
My most recent, English as a Second Language (ESL), teaching position was at an elite Catholic School named Assumption Convent School, in Thailand, where I successfully taught grades two and three for a total of six years. I was successful because eighty to ninety-percent of my students passed their exams.
I also taught ESL for one year in Seoul, South Korea, six months in Taipei, Taiwan, and three months in Cambodia.

I’m skilled with an active and fun teaching style by playing learning games, acting out vocabulary and conversations with the students. I engage in fun and active speaking drills, chants for conversations, grammar and phonics. I’ve got a sense of humor to keep the students interested. I can sing songs, dance, and do the motions of the songs with the students. For discipline, I use a positive reward system.
