About Souvik

I am Souvik Poddar, a final-year Electrical Engineering Student with hands-on experience in power systems, automation, and sustainable technologies. My core strength lies in MATLAB/Simulink modeling, PLC & SCADA Systems and Embedded Project development, where I focus on building efficient, real-world solutions.
I have worked on innovative projects like MagnetoLock: Secure and Automatic Train Coupling, where I applied concepts of electromagnetism and automation. I am also involved in developing a Smart Hospital Bed with an Integrated Laboratory System, which combines electrical systems with real-world healthcare applications.

In addition, I have internship experience in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, which has enhanced my understanding of modern electrical technologies, battery systems, and sustainable energy solutions.

I had got around 94% in both Madhyamik and Higher Secondary. I passed WBJEE, JEE MAINS, and ICAR with better numbers. Recently, I have passed the GATE Exam and am trying to take part in M.TECH.

About the lesson

I believe in a concept-oriented and practical approach to teaching Electrical Engineering. My goal is not just to help students score well in exams, but to build a strong fundamental understanding that they can apply in real-life engineering problems.

I use a step-by-step explanation method, starting from basic concepts and gradually moving to advanced topics. I incorporate real-life examples, numerical problem-solving, and visual explanations (diagrams, circuit analysis, simulations) to make complex topics easier to understand. I also focus on clearing doubts thoroughly and encourage interactive learning.

A class usually begins with a quick revision of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new concepts. Then we move to problem-solving and practical applications. At the end, I provide short assignments or practice questions to strengthen understanding and track progress.
