About Annemarie
Hello! My name is Annie, and I’m a passionate educator with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have experience working with students of various ages and learning styles, and I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. My approach to tutoring is patient, positive, and personalized — I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Whether we’re building foundational skills, boosting confidence, or preparing for a big test, I aim to make every session engaging and productive. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking ownership of their learning. My goal is not just to help students improve academically, but to help them develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

I personalize each lesson because each student might need something different. My policy is not a one size fits all. It's all about the needs of the student.
I will have a lesson planned out but I will always have a 2 part step to each if something needs to be learned further in depth or if it needs advancement.
I have taught in the public school before and I want to be able to do more for students outside of school to help them succeed.
I prefer to stay with pre-K to 5th grade. However, I am also open to learning as well.
