About Autumn
I have been a Teaching Artist for almost two years now. I have worked with children from age seven to fourteen. I have also worked with adults as well. I have facilitated mic spaces and performed at different venues. I have done multiple creative writing camps at schools such as Rice University, University of Houston and elementary schools in HISD. I am very passionate about what I do and love to help my students unlock their creativity!

My lessons are an active learning approach. They are personal to your interests and engaging your brain on different levels. I can assist with areas such as performance poetry, writing various styles of poetry and combing multiple mediums to create one piece of art. I can assist with storytelling, persuasive essays and speeches. I can also help with analyzing text whether it be poems, stories or articles.
