Hi I'm Cat :)

An actor and drama teacher who would love to mentor you!

I'm an ACA graduate who has been participating in acting classes ever since I was a young child. During my time growing up in NZ, I performed as part of the Pop Up Globe's season of 'Henry V' as well as with Auckland Theatre Company.

I am currently working in the industry and have also discovered a passion for teaching and directing. This has led me to teach for notable institutions such as ATYP and APGS; where I have devised and directed a number of student performances.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology primarily focuses on the individual students needs. In my experience, I have found that different students take to different acting techniques and so it's important for me to get to know my students and their strengths.

Area's I specialise in are as follows:

- Screen Acting: Self Tape/ Audition Technique, Camera Work, Script analysis, Script Writing.

- Theatre Acting: Monologues, Scene Study, Meisner, Hagen, Stanislavski, Adler, Stage Craft, Physical Theatre.

I am ideally looking for 1-2 hour classes in person or online and am open to coaching ages 5- 17.

I have worked with many regarded theatre institutions here in Sydney including The Australian Theatre for Young People and The Australian Performing Arts Grammar School. In my experience I have taught a variety of young people from diverse backgrounds, with neurodivergence, disabilities, and varying behavioural patterns. I take pride in crafting inclusive learning environments that welcome every individual and constantly ensure the safety and comfort of the young people I teach.
