About Maeve
I am a university-educated published author with a BA in English Literature. My specialties are writing in Fiction and Non-Fiction. I am very well versed in Shakespearean and Medieval Literature as well as folklore and mythology. I will strive to better your understanding of your course readings and ensure your writing expresses your new understanding in a concise and interesting manner. For fiction writing, I will ensure you understand the basics and that you can construct a powerful narrative.

I like to work closely with individuals or small groups. I will listen to concerns group members have with their work and address them through practice. I believe this will yield the best results as it allows the student(s) to work with what challenges them the most.
For a typical class, I like to start with a brief outline of how we will proceed and what topics we will cover. I then will relate the topics to something more related to their lives ( I.E relating folklore to pop culture). Once the basics are covered I will begin an activity or engage in their pre-existing homework and ensure the student(s) practice the skills learned that session.
