About Kylee
I find great joy in working with students 1:1. Watching them grow and seeing the excitement in them as they master concepts and become a reader is such a highlight for me.
I have 12 years experience in public schools. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, a Masters degree in Literacy and a Specialist degree in Educational Administration.
I pride myself on using all of my background knowledge while also still learning new techniques to make the most appropriate lessons for each student.

I take time to assess what needs each student has in my first lesson. I then create individualized lessons to not only meet the literacy needs of the child, but are also age appropriate and engaging. My lessons are for students in elementary or middle school. These lessons are perfect for kids who either missed chunks of foundational skills due to the global pandemic or are struggling to meet the grade level expectations and need more 1:1 time to master the skills.
