About Rodrigo

I am fascinated by the way with the English language and its potential to create bridges between the most diverse areas of knowledge. Although I work mostly with academic and corporate contexts, my methodology is based on student need and is focused on creating meaningful communication opportunities.

I pre-assess students' needs and ambitions with English, and bring content that incorporates language into what the student already knows to learn even more.

About the lesson

My name is Rodrigo and I am a Master in Language Studies from PUC-RJ. I have a dual degree in Portuguese and English Languages and Literature from UFF (2015). I taught English for academic purposes in the Languages Without Borders program (2013-2015) and I worked as Tutor Online at the LwB Online Teacher Development Course of the Ministry of Education (2016-2017). Today, with more than 8 years of experience teaching English, I teach English for academic and professional purposes in person or online.
