About Irene

Italian native speaker, passionate about foreign languages and cultures, I first graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation in Milan, and now I'm graduating in Modern Literature in Bologna. During my university years I had the opportunity to study in France and England, thus discovering new methodologies and teaching approaches. I am currently an educator at a Boarding School in Switzerland, after living and working at a bilingual English/French school in a multicultural context with 11-20 year olds. My passion is to help kids and adults in learning foreign languages, passing on my linguistic and cultural knowledge, with the aim of teaching not only concepts but skills that will always be useful in everyday life. I have experience of teaching French, English and Italian to foreigners and I am in possession of the DALF C2 certification in French and TOEFL C1 in English. I consider myself a citizen of the world and France, England, Spain and Switzerland have been my home at different times. At the moment I live in Switzerland but I will return to Italy in July.

About the lesson

Learn a new language should be fun!
This is the basic premise of my lessons. Allow you to learn with serenity. Whether you're starting from scratch or already have a knowledge of the Italian language, my goal is to guide you in learning this Latin language so full of history and charm to be able to speak, write and understand Italian in everyday life. My lessons are tailor-made based on the person, the level, the objectives but three things that can never be missing in my lessons are interactivity, the spoken use of the language and commitment!

Irene è un'insegnate paziente e molto disponibile. Molto competente sulle lingue, in particolare sull'inglese dal momento che ha vissuto all'estero per un periodo di tempo. Le ho chiesto aiuto nello speaking per una fiera e devo dire che in poco tempo è riuscita a farmi sentire sicura nel parlare con i clienti esteri. Gentile, preparata e professionale. Preparata su tutti i livelli, sia scolastico che professionale. Consigliatissima!!
