About Marcus

I don’t just teach music, but also combat sports, tai chi, and yoga. I love helping people find their next level up. Learning a principle or technique and experimenting with it, testing both your limits as well as the limits of the technique or principles... The goal is excellence and there is no limit. Let’s go!

About the lesson

I’m client focused in my teaching methodology: I want to get my clients where THEY want to go. There is a scope and sequence that may be learned, but I want to focus on areas where my clients are currently inspired as that will assure the most efficient progress. I focus on understanding what’s behind music in terms of not just the theory, but also the psychology of music creation. Theoretical understanding, composition, performance and production may all be looked at in a lesson.
