About the lesson

Many children feel scared or shy when they have to speak a second language. They worry about making mistakes or being laughed at by their peers. Teaching them how to talk better means creating a safe space where mistakes are part of the learning process. Each time a child stumbles over a word and keeps going, they build resilience and self-esteem. When I teach kids how to speak better English, I am watching them transform. I see quiet children raise their hands, hesitant speakers tell full stories, and fearful learners turn into confident communicators. Giving a child the gift of speech is giving them the power to shape their own future.
