About Mia

Hi, I’m Mia, and I’m passionate about helping students unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I’ve been teaching in a Further Education college for five years, specialising in Sport Coaching and Development, Sport and Exercise Science, Uniformed Protective Services, as well as specifically teaching Psychology and Government units for the past four years. I hold a BA (Hons) in Sport Studies and an FAQ Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. I aim to make learning interactive and engaging, using technology like Nearpod to bring lessons to life. Whether supporting students to achieve Distinctions in coursework or preparing for challenging exams, I provide guidance, support, and challenge to help learners reach their full potential. My lessons combine practical experience, clear explanations, and real-world examples, ensuring content is relevant and exciting. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow. Learning with me is about more than exams, it’s about building skills, knowledge, and confidence for the future.

About the lesson

I deliver 1-hour lessons for 16–19-year-olds, using technology-driven methods such as Nearpod to embed content and provide interactive questions. I hold a BA (Hons) in Sport Studies and an FAQ Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, and have been teaching in a Further Education college for the past five years. My approach combines practical and theory-based learning, ensuring students remain engaged while developing knowledge and skills effectively.

Alongside our live sessions, I set independent study tasks, mark exam-style questions, and proofread coursework to help you achieve the highest possible grades. I also prepare personalised learning materials and resources tailored to each student’s needs. All of this is included within my hourly fee, with no hidden costs.
