I teach GCSE Chemistry. At school I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry and an A* in A-level Chemistry. I’ve had experience tutoring a GCSE student who achieved an 8 in her exam.

About Uma
I’m an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who aims to build the confidence of all my students. I’m patient and willing to go through a student’s questions in as much detail as needed whilst being concise and clear. I loved chemistry at both GCSE and A-level and I’m keen to share my passion for the subject with my students. I’m currently 19 years old and coming to the end of my gap year before starting at the University of Cambridge in October.

- My lessons are for GCSE Chemistry students. - 1 hour lessons - I aim to ensure my student is confident on a topic by firstly using my own notes on the subject as well as different resources including ‘save my exams’ to help the student’s understanding of the topic. Secondly, I will help them through past paper questions and full exam papers. - I hope to foster a fun and engaging learning environment. - Also I will help the student learn to revise on their own using different revision techniques and online resources.
