I teach English upto class 12. I teach both English language and English literature. I teach creative writing as well.

• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I am a graduate of English Literature. However, I gained interest in English when I first started poetry in 10th grade. My spoken English was always good so I was interested in the subject.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My father motivated me to teach and share my knowledge with the world. He always wanted me to choose a profession where I can enjoy and earn as well.

• How does your work help society?

  I teach Spoken English and English grammar to students which directly helps them perform well in their careers by presenting themselves in a better way.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model is all of the teachers who started small but are now great entrepreneurs earning well and serving society at the same time.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  My hobbies are writing and singing.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  When I first set out to teach, my parents advised me that I should start teaching kids because they will not be difficult to deal with. However, I trusted my instincts and started teaching adults. It was surprising to see how all of my students appreciate my way of teaching now I'm more confident than ever.
