About Raya
Hi there,
My name is Raya and I tutor GCSE Biology students. I have recently finished my A-Levels and I am about to start university as a dental student next year. I have experience of tutoring children and have helped students achieve the grades they want as well as improve confidence. I achieved all As in my GCSEs, with a 9 in GCSE Biology. I currently work within the NHS and have experience working as a healthcare assistant.
I completely understand how hard it is to be a student and the struggles a GCSE student might face as I have also been in this position myself. I am currently still a student so I believe that I am able to relate a lot with the students I teach.
I want to help you get the grades you want to achieve, gain confidence in the subject and most importantly enjoy biology!
I am sure you can smash GCSE Biology and I am always here to help you get there!

I am able to tailor lessons to each student according to their personal goals, whether thats to improve grades or improve confidence. I use various teaching techniques such as encouraging students to participate by asking them questions, going over hard exam topics/questions ect. The lessons are one hour each and online. Lesson times are flexible. I would usually speak to the student to ask about their preferred teaching style, if they want extra resources (homework, exams, extra questions) and the areas they need help with the most.
I am a student who has finished my GCSE and A-Levels and I am currently about to start university to become a dentist. I achieved all A stars at GCSE with a 9 in GCSE Biology. I am currently working within the NHS and I also have experience working as a healthcare assistant.
Lessons I provide are for GCSE Biology students (AQA).
