About Ratheena
I am a medicine applicant, I achieved (concealed information) in my GCSE's and A*AB (geography, biology, chemistry) in my A-Levels. I went to a grammar school in Southend from years 7 to 13 hence received the best education and resources.
I am currently on a gap year and really miss education, especially biology which has always been my favourite subject! Hence why I thought let me use my knowledge and love for biology for good, I love teaching and sharing my knowledge with others, I am a great, clear and effective communicator. I am the friend that helps you understand that one thing you've always been stuck on and the friend that goes over content last minute with you before your exams that you haven't revised for, so I have always had a way with teaching as I'm good at finding easy ways to remember things and will really get you to understand core content with my notes and flashcards. You will end up loving biology, trust me :)

Hiya! I am available to tutor GCSE biology (year 9-11s) as well as A Level Biology (years 12-13). Both will be AQA based as that is what I did hence can be very confident with you especially as I had just done my A-Levels in 2023, my knowledge is very fresh!
I will focus greatly on making sure you understand the content as well as exam techniques and how to write mark scheme answers and keywords as that is very important in biology. I have great resources that helped me achieve a 9 for GCSE biology and an A in A-Level biology. I will give you access to my A Level flashcards for your independent study as well as notes. I have had past experience as a tutor in my school for GCSE and A Level kids as well as my two younger siblings. A typical lesson length would be 1.5 hours but can be tweaked if needed due to your preferences, I will cater to your needs (decide whether you want homework and perhaps mini tests ect.) and this will be a team effort from both of us :)
