About Tiffney

I am a tutor and translator of English and Japanese. I have worked in schools in Japan, and done private tutoring for the last 9 years in the U.S.. I have taught ESL, helped my students going to American schools understand their homework. I teach reading comprehension, pronunciation and speaking and listening skills, as well as helping them study for the TOEFL and other English proficiency tests. I encourage my students to use the English they know as much as they can, I help them learn ways to communicate successfully.

About the lesson

What I teach the students is based on the students needs at the time. Anything from helping them with their school homework, to understanding how to communicate in English by watching videos, or listening to conversations, and then giving them tools to understand natural English pronunciation.
