About Randolph
Business travelers and students often feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of new vocabulary, which is a struggle I see quite frequently. During my 13 years of working with diverse learners, I have found that addressing idioms and expressions alongside grammar foundations creates the strongest results. I frequently support intermediate learners who are trying to navigate academic writing or everyday conversation for the first time. My work often involves coaching students through IELTS preparation while simultaneously sharpening their pronunciation and accent.
Drawing on my MA TESOL and BA degrees, I construct lessons that emphasize phrasal verbs and clear speaking patterns. It is interesting to watch the shift when a student finally stops translating word for word and starts thinking in the target language. I am always ready to adjust the pace if the material feels too dense or not challenging enough.

I use weekly conversation recordings reviewed together to highlight exactly where your phrasing needs polish. We examine these clips to identify specific areas for improvement in your pronunciation and academic writing.
