About Trevor
I am a member of Cartier Williams Dance Theatre and have danced in several youth tap ensembles in the past. I have been teaching classes for 5 years and currently teach at several locations in the DC area, including Knock On Wood Tap Studio and CoMMotion Dance Studio. I am a passionate improvisational tap dancer but love to teach the basics. I love feedback and will incorporate your interests into my lessons!!

I am very easy to get along with and my main objective is to ensure that you are progressing at your own pace! My lessons usually start with a call and response warm up followed by dancing across the floor to music. In the second half of the class I will teach you a tap routine customized to your exact skill level. I teach people who have never tapped before to advanced students and everybody in between! I am very patient with students learning new moves and choreography. Please take my class!!!

The free first lesson with Trevor allows you to get to know the tutor and discuss your needs and expectations.

Details
For in person classes, I will cover the cost of a studio rental, and for online, you can use any floor to dance on. If teaching at your house, I can bring two portable tap boards. Tap shoes are not required but please wear closed-toe shoes.
