About Lebogang

I am a Performing Arts Master’s graduate and dedicated dance educator with over four years of experience in teaching, lecturing, and choreography. I have trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and African contemporary, and I am passionate about sharing both the technical and creative aspects of dance with my students.

My interest in teaching is deeply personal. Growing up, I struggled with communication and self-expression, and dance became a powerful outlet for me. Through movement, music, and storytelling, I found a way to express emotions and ideas that I could not always put into words. Dance became both a form of therapy and a source of joy and entertainment in my life.

This is what I aim to offer my students. I want to help both younger and older individuals discover dance as a means of expression, confidence, and connection. I am committed to creating a supportive and professional environment where students feel comfortable to grow, explore, and find their own voice through movement.

About the lesson

My approach combines strong technical training with creativity and individual support. With a Master’s in Performing Arts and over 4 years of teaching and choreographic experience, I offer structured yet engaging lessons that build technique, confidence, and expression.

I teach in English, Afrikaans, Tswana and adapt each lesson to the student’s goals and level. A typical session includes a warm-up, technique work (ballet, contemporary, jazz, or African contemporary), and either choreography or creative exercises.

My teaching style is disciplined but fun, creating a supportive space where students can grow. Lessons are suitable for all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, including students needing help with performance, choreography, or dance studies.
