About Yvette
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 3 years of experience and a MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry. I focus on making analytical chemistry understandable and practical. Students often come to me overwhelmed by instruments and procedures. Together we simplify them. I teach chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration methods step by step so learners know both the process and the purpose.
I place strong emphasis on experimental design and proper lab thinking. We work through calibration curves, error analysis, and data reliability. I frequently help chemistry laboratory students interpret results and complete reports. Many of my students are aiming for careers in research or quality assurance. I introduce quality control concepts used in real laboratories.
My goal is to build confidence alongside technical skill. Clear measurements lead to clear conclusions. When students finally trust their own data, everything changes. Chemistry becomes logical and rewarding. I love helping students experience the satisfaction of precise chemical analysis.

My teaching method is supportive and adapted to each student’s learning style. I begin with simple explanations so chemistry becomes clear and comfortable. We connect basic topics like atoms, reactions, and energy changes to real environmental situations. I include environmental chemistry concepts such as water quality, soil chemistry, and atmospheric reactions.
I also teach green chemistry ideas and sustainable industrial practices. Students learn how chemistry can reduce pollution and conserve resources. We discuss pollution remediation methods including filtration, adsorption, and natural biodegradation. I encourage conscious chemical thinking in every lesson.
I especially help learners who work closely with nature or in healthcare laboratories understand why chemistry matters in their daily observations and tests. They begin to see chemical processes behind wildlife health and medical diagnostics. Problem solving and data interpretation are practiced often. Questions are always welcome. Confidence grows steadily. Curiosity about a healthier planet guides every session.
