About Luke
With two years of tutoring experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, I teach Chemistry with forensic applications in mind. My lessons cover drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene investigation. Students work with simulated case files to practice problem-solving. Analytical instruments, like chromatography and spectroscopy, are explained step by step. I highlight their role in uncovering hidden evidence. Ethical responsibility is discussed in every lesson. My approach is interdisciplinary, bringing together chemistry, biology, physics, and law. Students preparing for forensic science careers gain targeted support. Those aiming for law enforcement benefit from applied, practical learning. Each lesson is interactive, combining explanation and discussion. Feedback is constructive, guiding steady improvement. Students leave with more confidence and skill. Chemistry becomes a subject with real-world importance. Together, we explore how science helps solve mysteries and promote justice.

A systematic approach is essential for mastering Chemistry. My lessons focus on organic chemistry, guiding students through nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism. I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. Organic synthesis exercises reinforce learning and problem-solving. Visual aids, molecular models, and diagrams support understanding. Lessons are tied to environmental and marine science applications to show relevance. Students aiming for careers as environmentalists or marine biologists gain practical insights. Feedback is consistent, helping learners recognize progress and improve. Lessons are interactive, with discussions and exercises to keep students engaged. Each session follows a clear learning path, building upon prior knowledge. Conceptual understanding is paired with applied skills. Organic chemistry becomes approachable and meaningful. I provide guidance to ensure learners feel confident and supported. Together, we explore the chemistry behind ecosystems and carbon-based processes.
