About Sejal
I am a second year medical student at the University of Southampton. I am looking to tutor as I am passionate about the subjects I enjoy and strive to improve student grades with my knowledge and teaching styles.
I have experience tutoring a range of students, between the ages of 10-16, showing I can adapt my teaching to suit each individual and work with them closely to help achieve their specific goals.
As a student myself and having gone through the stages of my tutees, I always bear in mind how intimidating learning can be, so I always try my best to make each individual comfortable!

I am happy to provide lessons up to GCSE level, as this is what fits my schedule best at the moment. I understand the GCSE curriculum well and mentored GCSE students both online and in person during my time at sixth form (2 years), helping improve their confidence in Spanish reading, writing and speaking.
I work around the student's needs and find the best way to approach a session to be to confirm the topic we are studying as well as the expectations before the lesson.
I am happy to provide some study material and also go through past papers which a lot of students find helpful!
In addition to mentoring during sixth form, I have also gained experience as a tutor when working with younger students for 11 Plus examination preparation, showing I can work with a variety of students and identify their individual needs.
The typical length of a lesson would be an hour, but I am open to requests regarding lesson duration, as well as lesson frequency.
