About Kush
I'm a student doing a Masters in Biomedical Science. Some of my favourite subjects to learn and teach include metabolism, immunity, DNA and protein. Biology is content-heavy, and unlike other subject areas it's very hit and miss, you either write the correct answer or you don't even if you know what you are talking about. The key to cracking biology is it's enemy - the terminology. Being able to use specific words in your answers are what guarantees you marks.
Outside of my academic life, I like taking my dog, Bruno on walks, I like playing badminton with my brother on the weekends. I also like painting, especially with acrylics and I can play the keyboard and guitar also! It's important to take time out of your studies to unwind and relax, life is about a work-life balance!

I know how important it is for a tutor to be patient and understanding of their tutees, and that's what I can guarantee. Learning is fun and getting things wrong is a part of the process, don't worry we all get things wrong all the time. Revision methods that work for me include blurting and past paper questions, I have access to helpful websites where you can find FREE and EXTENSIVE list of questions to get you those grades you want. But most importantly I provide a relaxed and easy environment for my students, do not be scared to get things wrong or forget answers, I used to and still do all the time as well!
A typical lesson is 1 hour. I have achieved an A in both Biology and Chemistry and A level and am currently doing a Masters in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick. I have experience teaching younger years when I was at school. My lessons are targeted for anyone going into secondary school up to GCSE and A level standard.
