About Eva
Hello there, this is Eva :) I'm studying at UC Berkeley in hopes of running my own education program one day! I love working with kids and want to make learning a breeze for all my students. Having more than 5 years of experience working with students below grade 6, I am confident in providing a fun and educational tutoring experience for my students. I work with parents and students directly to assess the student's needs. Homework completion is guaranteed and I help students in areas they need to polish on. I'm patient and put my students first, making learning fun rather than dreadful is very important to me. Depending on the student's age and areas of need, I like to start each lesson with an assessment to know how the student is doing in the subject that we are focusing on, help them finish homework, and help answer questions they can't answer. With knowledge about the student's needs, a personal lesson plan will be drafted to address the students' shortcomings in the subject and help them excel. I can assess students' literacy with Chinese lessons and help them reach verbal native fluency.
