About Hiba
Hello! My name is Hiba, and I am a multilingual tutor based in Sydney. I was born in Morocco, where I learned formal Arabic and began studying French at the age of five. When I moved to Barcelona at nine years old, I became fluent in Spanish and Catalan within six months. I now speak Arabic, Spanish, French, Catalan, and English fluently. I studied Aerospace Engineering in Barcelona up to my third year, which provided me with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. I can provide proof of my completed university credits and hold a B2 level certificate in French from the AEOI (Escola Oficial d’Idiomes), the official government language school in Barcelona. I have extensive in-person tutoring experience, beginning in secondary school, continuing throughout high school, and during my university studies. I have taught students from my own classes as well as students from lower levels, supporting them in both languages and science subjects. To continuously maintain and improve my language proficiency, I read daily in multiple languages. I regularly read literature and historical divulgation texts in formal Arabic, French, Spanish, and English, which allows me to constantly expand my vocabulary and maintain a high level of accuracy.
