Hola, soy Joe :)
I have recently finished A-levels in French and Spanish and am about to take my gap year.
I am very passionate about languages and hope to share this with people who choose to study with me.
As I have recently finished my A levels, I can relate with students on obstacles encountered when learning languages and more importantly how to overcome these.
Furthermore, I taught taught myself Spanish over a few months in order to take A-level.
Because of this, I was able to identify methods that speed up the process as well as finding out what actually helps and what doesn't when it comes to progressing.

As languages can present many challenges during the learning process, I'm happy to help students with anything they come to me with on a lesson by lesson basis.
The aim of lessons are to improve the 4 skills required for language proficiency: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
I will encourage students to speak in Spanish or French as often as they can or feel comfortable.
For me, being able to spot patterns and draw parallels between languages was the most effective method of taking it all in and I hope to be able to share this with students to make the task of language learning a little less daunting.
I will also advise students on what they can do outside of lessons to supplement their progress and give a context to what they have learnt.
For A-level students, I can help them with the essay material as I studied La casa de Bernarda Alba, Maria llena eres de Gracia, La Haine, No et Moi, and I have read Como agua para chocolate.
I am also well versed in all other aspects of the syllabus.
Lessons can be one or two hours but I can be flexible.
While I was in sixth form I tutored GCSE students in French and Spanish.
The lessons will be very much at the pace that the student wishes to go and my goal will be to aid their progression while sharing my enthusiasm for the subject.
I am predicted A/A* at A level in both languages and have a grade 9 in GCSE French.
