About Zianda

I am a student from the University of the Western Cape, doing my final year in BA. I have always loved to teach, teaching is my passion. I am that person who likes to make a difference. I believe that teaching is one of the ways that I can bring or make change in my country. I am the hope of the new South African, I want to change the style of teaching, I want teaching and learning to be fun!

About the lesson

I do psychology as my major, this is an advantage to me because teaching involves the cognitive functioning as well. My approach in teaching and learning includes going to any extent to make my students understand. I understand that students learn differently, for example, some learn from listening while others learn by doing things practically. My approach to teaching and learning does not sideline anyone. I am good in English and isiXhosa.

Zianda has clear communication skills. She is able to listen and observe. She has helped me with a few research projects. She is very patient and is good with time management. As a tutor, she first tries out new study styles to better understand what she recommends to people as study methods. Overall she is a great tutor.
