About George

I am a friendly tutor and I have experience tutoring ages 7-17 across a range of abilities. I use materials which I have checked carefully to ensure the best fit for each student. I am fully DBS checked. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can help you or your child!

About the lesson

I am very passionate about the science of learning. During my A levels I became really interested in how I could optimise my process of understanding new concepts using techniques like spaced repetition and finding the right difficulty level. I would love to share these with other people to help their learning. I have achieved 4A*s at A level and 9 ‘9’s at GCSE. Typical lessons last an hour and I have a flexible schedule - I am happy to do a set of lessons or just on an ad hoc basis to support specific topics. I can also set and mark homework if it will help.
