About Melissa
I am a current student at the University of Birmingham and I am studying Theology and Religion. I am in my second year going into my last year. I have always enjoyed RE and always have thrived in the subject. At school I studied RE and then Philosophy and Ethics at A Level and since then my enthusiasm in the subject has grown. I love reading, which has always aided my knowledge in the subject. I also love a bit of a debate, as I feel RE is a place where students should feel comfortable expressing their views!
Teaching the subject is something I thoroughly enjoy and I can't wait to get to know and help you students!

RE as a subject is something I have always enjoyed. It isn't just about religion but about the way people live their lives!
I am open to do what is best for the student when it comes to my sessions, I will always create a safe space for whoever I am teaching and encourage them to get the best grades possible. My lessons are for those who are currently studying RE, RS or Philosophy and Ethics either as a GCSE or an A Level student.
My lessons will roughly last an hour, but I am flexible, and encourage students to come to me with any issues regarding the lessons, including the timings and contents!
