About Marie

I taught throughout my 10 years of graduate study. I gave many English immersion courses at the Kiddy and Junior Classes Center in Brussels in the summers (7-12 years). I also gave private language lessons in Brussels. I taught geology in English to first year bachelor students in the USA. So I'm used to teaching English at all levels and for all ages.

About the lesson

I just finished my PhD in geophysics in the USA and I did geology studies before that in Cambridge. So English is pretty much my mother tongue now. I like teaching languages in a didactic way and recreating an immersion environment. I therefore include watching short videos in English, learning songs by heart and reciting them ... This is the best way to learn and master the right accent quickly. But also, basics are important too so we will not skimp on the vocabulary. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information!
