About Emanuel
I'm 20 years old, and I've always pictured myself (if not always, at least for the last ten years) as a teacher. In high school, I acquired a particular interest in Physics and I can only say that this area owns my heart.
By the end of high school, I took the ENEM (National Exam for High High School students here in Brazil) and was approved for the degree in Electrical Engineering (if I can be honest, it was definetively the wrong decision). After a year, I took the ENEM again and transferred to the Bachelor's Degree in Physics, however, realizing that I really wanted to teach, I asked to transfer to the Degree in Physics, in which I am today.
I believe in the absolute importance of a good science education so that one becomes less manipulable and able to understand how the world around him works. Learning Physics and Math can be a light work, if not light, at least possible.

My method consists of, from the interaction with the student, bringing in experiments, simulations, and topics in the history of science, to make the student able to perceive the physical and mathematical concepts in the world around him.
To each class, I intend to develop: an initial section (in which I wanna know how much the student aready know about the subject), a review or explanation of the content (here experiments and simulations are included, when appropriate), a conceptual exercises section and an exercises section with a more mathematical approach.
I am particularly interested in the themes of philosophy and history of science, as well as in the area of experimental physics. I believe that these topics are powerful tools in learning any subject in the natural sciences, especially physics, and of great help for an correct understanding of mathematics applied to the real world.
My classes are initially intended for any student from the sixth year of elementary school through the last year of high school.
