About Laura

I have been a registered student for English and Physical Education at the Martin-Luther University in Halle since 2018 and have been giving private tuition in a wide variety of subjects since then, especially in English.
During my last job as a tutor, I supervised secondary school and elementary school students with their homework, preparation for presentations, tests and class work. I have found that individual and flexible tutoring supports the students more than tutoring at a fixed time and in just one specific subject. Since then I have been extensively involved with all subjects up to the 10th grade (English, Maths, German, Biology, Physics, Ethics...).
Even though I'm not a student of all of these subjects and wasn't always able to answer every question immediately, I'm able to answer 99% of all questions and explain the content with the help of the students' teaching materials and my knowledge from my own school days.
With this type of tutoring, I would like to give the students back the joy of learning that was often taken away from them by difficult homework and non-understood topics. Since I enjoy working with students myself, I would like to share my knowledge and experience with them in order to make it easier for them to graduate. It is important to me to make my students' entry into professional life as pleasant as possible through a comprehensive understanding of the course content.
Even though I'm currently in the US to study abroad, I don't want to give up working with students, which is why I'd love to tutor online.

About the lesson

I would like to help students from primary school to secondary school (10th grade) to do their homework effectively and with joy at home and, above all, to understand it. I focus entirely on the students in terms of subjects, duration and frequency of the lesson. I am also always available outside of the hours via Whatsapp for questions. I would like to offer my students individual help that they can access at any time or when it is necessary (e.g. if a homework is not understood or help is needed to prepare a presentation). Individual appointments can be flexibly arranged weekly to daily in order to make the tutoring as effective and appropriate as possible.
