About Valerie
I have over 2 years experience in professional caretaking. As a camp counselor, I was able to learn skills in managing and teaching children. I employ a “3-Step Ladder” approach in my teachings that allow students to learn from their mistakes. Hello! My name is Val Hennessee, and I am a youth-focused tutor for all things music, math, and english. I have over 12 years experience in choral ensembles, was accepted into the Texas All-State 2022 ensemble, and have taken over 3 years of private voice lessons and lectures to perfect my skills. I am currently a freshman at Indiana University holding a 3.8 GPA, and I earned a perfect score on my AP English Literature exam and a nearly perfect score on my AP Statistics exam my senior year of high school.
