About Aamaal

Having achieved an A* in Geography in the new GCSE specification, I am able to guide students in terms of new content and revision techniques. I have tutored students from a range of different abilities for a wide selection of subjects, in addition to working at two private tutoring companies for the past year. Furthermore, I have assisted students to gain places at top grammar schools (Tiffins, Wallington High, Nonsuch, St Olave's) as well as to top leading UK independent schools.
Moreover, I have helped a student achieve a Grade 8/9 (A*) in their Geography GCSE when they achieved a Grade 3 (D) in their mock.

I have also had a DBS check.

Please contact me for availability and with any questions you may have.

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to suit the individual's needs based on their ability and the subject type. I am able to assist students with revision in the weeks leading up to their examinations or teaching new topics to help them become ahead of class. I am able to cater for all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.) and I will ensure that the student understands all the topics for the particular subject in the specification before their exams.

I am able to provide students with in-depth case studies for their exams too.

I believe that gaining a top mark in Geography relies on exam technique, consequently, I assist students in writing detailed exam answers that examiners look for, as well as ensuring students understand the geographical processes and guiding students through practice papers and questions until the tutee is confident with the topic before moving on.

Aamaal tutored me for GCSEs and she was absolutely fantastic! She always broke the topic up so it was easy to understand. I recommend her not only for her approach to tutoring but also for her friendly and positive attitude. Thanks Aamaal- couldn’t have done it without you!

Aamaal is helping me with my GCSEs and has increased my confidence immensely ever since she started tutoring me. She doesn't move onto the next topic until I have understood a concept fully and gives clear, detailed explanations. I have zero hesitation in recommending Aamaal.
