About Beatriz
I am a Med student at the Complutense University of Madrid and I have a C2 in English. In my spare time, among other things, I like to learn anything (from languages to learning how to learn). It is the first time that I teach officially, but I have a lot of experience as a self-taught person and I have done a lot of research on neuroscience to find out how the brain learns best.
My hobbies include: horse riding, piano, handball, watching tv shows, reading, writing, learning languages and other things...

If you feel stuck at your current level of English, I would like to help you give it a push and get the learning curve going again. From experience, I know that schools teach at most up to a B2, and from there it is up to you to reach higher levels. My classes will focus on the use of the language, since it is useless to know the grammatical structures if we can't use them later. This does not mean, however, that I am not going to explain grammar; I will do it if necessary, and you will be using the new concept immediately afterwards. In general, I'm going to use a lot of tv shows, videos and articles that I find on the internet, so don't expect a workbook and some of exercises. My goal is to make the classes as enjoyable as possible, but for this it is important for you to be commited and open (shyness disappears the more you talk). At the beginning of each class we will set a goal, and at the end we will check if it has been met and discuss why or why not in order to improve the methodology for the next session.
