About Eden
With over a decade of tutoring and a Master’s in Systems Biology, I bring a deep and thoughtful approach to biology education. My focus is evolutionary biology, and I love helping students uncover the mechanisms of change over time. Key topics like natural selection, adaptation, and speciation are taught through rich, evidence-based methods. I use fossil records, comparative anatomy, and DNA analysis to explain evolutionary patterns. Each lesson invites students to think like scientists and question like philosophers. My teaching style in biology is based on making learning visual, step-by-step, and relatable. I use diagrams, animations, and models to explain genetics, molecular biology, and cell behavior.
We start with the basics—what a cell is and how it functions—and build up to more detailed systems. I focus on active learning, encouraging students to talk through their thought processes.
Students aiming for careers in health or research, like Pharmacist-in-Training, get custom support to meet academic and professional goals. Topics like reaction pathways, enzymatic activity, and DNA replication are broken down in easy-to-follow steps.
I make sure learning is never passive—each session includes discussions, short exercises, and real-life examples. I believe every student can master biology when it’s taught the right way.
