About Lin
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 11 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I believe that English learning should be personalised, motivating, and goal-oriented.
I assess each student’s strengths and learning needs before planning lessons. Based on this, I create structured lesson plans that focus on grammar accuracy, vocabulary growth, pronunciation, and communication skills. I also support reading, writing, listening, and speaking development.
I use simple explanations and interactive activities to help students understand and apply English effectively. I encourage active participation and regular practice to build confidence.
My strengths include patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. I provide regular feedback and encouragement. My goal is to help learners become confident and capable English communicators.

My ESL teaching approach is student-focused, practical, and motivating. I adapt lessons to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace to make English learning enjoyable and effective.
Motivation is emphasised in every lesson. I encourage students with positive feedback, achievable goals, and regular progress tracking. Communication is practised through speaking, listening, reading, and real-life conversation exercises.
Creativity makes lessons engaging and effective. I use role plays, storytelling, visuals, and interactive exercises to help students retain and apply English skills. Time management ensures lessons are structured, productive, and balanced.
Besides ESL, I teach spoken English, grammar basics, vocabulary development, pronunciation, professional communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My goal is to help students communicate confidently in all situations.
