About AZ
I'm Zac! I'm a graduate of Stanford University's Linguistics program (BA c/o 2017). My academic focus is Romance languages and language education. I have been tutoring since 2013 in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and French. I am most comfortable tutoring at or above the high school level. I also have a background in phonetics, so I am more than happy to do accent reduction work!

As a language instructor, I take a technical approach to grammar and pronunciation. I find that the best way to present language learners with new concepts is to show how the mechanics of the sentence work in context. By focusing on these mechanics, language learners can recognize grammar in context and build language skills on a solid conceptual understanding of the grammar.
