About Una
My interest in Excel developed through years of working with information systems, reporting processes, and business analytics projects. This experience inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, and a PhD in Information Systems. Over the last 11 years, I have helped learners improve their spreadsheet and analytical abilities.
I believe Excel should be taught through practical application and clear instruction. My teaching approach focuses on patience, adaptability, and helping learners understand how spreadsheet tools solve real-world problems. Every lesson is designed to encourage confidence and independent learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring business intelligence platforms and modern data visualization techniques. These interests help me keep lessons current and useful. Helping students become more effective and confident with data continues to motivate me every day.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students build practical skills that improve productivity and decision-making. We study formulas, advanced functions, data organization, charts, dashboards, PivotTables, and reporting tools through hands-on activities and real-world applications. I emphasize understanding the purpose behind spreadsheet tools so learners can use them effectively.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s objectives and experience level. Beginners learn spreadsheet fundamentals through structured exercises, while advanced users develop sophisticated analysis and reporting techniques. Regular practice and personalized feedback help students strengthen both efficiency and confidence.
Excel becomes more valuable when learners can organize information independently and solve data-related challenges effectively. Through supportive guidance and practical learning experiences, students develop skills that are useful in many academic and professional environments. My goal is to help learners become capable and confident spreadsheet users.
