About Maria Luisa
What I value the most is teaching how my students would feel confident in learning things they do not understand. To gain confidence and to trust that they can learn anything through practice and perseverance. I design lessons that are engaging and thought-provoking and will develop critical thinking. My lessons focused more on the value of each lesson and how it can mold my student's self-esteem and perspective about life and the world. I focused more on the virtues as much as the knowledge.

Focused methods in teaching students English literature, skills, and grammar through effective use of dramatics and theatrical arts strategies to develop first confidence, then the acquisition of skills while having fun. I have been a teacher of English literature and Research writing at the high school level. I have also directed several plays for grade school students. I am a teacher and a creative dramatics enthusiast since 2009.
