As a qualified speech and language therapist, my approach to tutoring is warm, supportive, and highly individualised. I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, then tailor sessions to meet their specific goals. My lessons are structured, engaging, and designed to build confidence as well as skill. I’m trained in the evidence-based Sounds-Write phonics programme and have extensive experience helping children, teens, and adults develop their reading, spelling, grammar, and overall English skills. I also draw on my speech therapy background to support language development and learning strategies, especially for learners who need extra support to thrive. My lessons are typically 45 minutes long (however this can be flexible according to your needs), and I work with learners of all ages - from early primary school students building foundational skills, through secondary students refining literacy, to adults improving their communication or literacy for work, study, or personal goals. Whether you’re catching up or getting ahead, I’m here to make learning clear, calm, and empowering.
