About Inês
Hello! My name is Ines and I specialize in biology, pharmacology and environmental sciences.
I have a PhD in the area of pharmacology and toxicology, an MSc in Toxicology and Risk Assessment and a BSc in Environmental Health.
I've been tutoring biology since was in secondary school, and I've taught courses to secondary school and undergraduate students.
I'd love to share my passion for science with you and your children!

I'm very passionate about teaching science. The "eureka moment" when a student understands a difficult concept and the pride they feel when they get a high grade are my main motivators.
I enjoy teaching in a visual way, with figures, graphs and schemes. I use a lot of examples in order to simplify concepts make them more approachable.
I provide engaging and appealing notes with the content of each lesson so that the student can focus on paying attention and learning, instead of taking notes.
I'm available to tutor in person around the Walthamstow area or online.
