About Eleni
I am an experienced educator with 21 years’ experience working across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Further Education. I have teaching qualifications and specialist training in literacy, dyslexia, SEND and barriers to learning.
I want to teach because I believe every learner deserves to feel capable, understood and supported. I have seen that many learners do not struggle because they lack ability, but because learning has not been explained in a way that works for them.
I am passionate about helping learners build confidence in English, literacy and communication. I enjoy breaking learning down into manageable steps and finding approaches that help learners feel successful. My aim is not only to help learners improve their skills, but also to help them believe in themselves and recognise what they are capable of.

My lessons are bespoke and carefully planned around each learner’s individual needs, confidence, pace, interests and goals.
I use a calm, structured and supportive approach, breaking learning down into clear, manageable steps. Sessions may include modelling, visual resources, repetition, discussion, practical activities and personalised strategies to help learners understand and retain new skills.
Support can include English, literacy, reading, writing, spelling, punctuation and grammar, phonics, study skills, Functional Skills English and GCSE English.
I specialise in supporting learners with dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, speech and language needs, anxiety around learning, and gaps in confidence or attainment.
The aim is to help learners build skills, independence and self-belief at a pace that works for them.
