I found Rie through the platfrom two years ago and since then my son has been taking a weekly class with her. She is a very professional, effective and patient Japanese teacher who keeps the learning fun and interesting. I am very happy to recommend Rie to anyone committed to learn Japanese.

I began lessons with Rie over a year ago. I was learning in preparation to go to Japan, and she started off by teaching me travel terminology. She has been very responsive to my individual preferences and makes each lesson fun by going along with my silly sentence ideas.

I started taking Japanese lessons with Rie a year ago and I have made great progress since. Before, I was taking group classes and felt that I was not getting better fast enough, but Rie has really taken my Japanese grammar and speaking skills to the next level. I am now finally able to have simple conversations in Japanese, which was not the case before. Our lessons are textbook-based with some time dedicated to speaking, and Rie always adapts to the materials and exercises I would like to work on. Something I also appreciate is Rie's punctuality and flexibility with my (sometimes chaotic) schedule. Moreover, Rie is very friendly and we always have a lot to talk about. I can definitely recommend her as a Japanese tutor, especially if you are an independent learner who needs a teacher that can adapt to your needs.
