About Alaina
I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Leeds studying Spanish and Economics. For the past year, I was living in Madrid, working as a Junior Business Manager in a Spanish consultancy firm specialised in the financial sector. This is where I gained fluency in Spanish.
I achieved A* at both GCSE and A-level Spanish and I am on track for a first in my university degree.
I only started learning Spanish at the age of 15 in school, so it was not long ago since I was probably in your shoes. I know what it takes to start from 0 and become fluent in another language, so I would love to help you with that journey. Or just help you achieve a good grade in your exams!

Lessons open to all age groups, from primary school through to A-level. Lessons will be tailored uniquely to each student.
I have a selection of GSCE and A-level Spanish materials and I have in depth knowledge of the topics covered.
Classes can involve:
- preparation for speaking exams
- essay writing skills in Spanish
- grammar
- improving vocabulary
- speaking practice
- reading exercises
I lived and worked in Madrid for a year so I am fluent in Spanish. I would be happy to use the lessons to improve your confidence in speaking and get you to a level where you can have conversations in Spanish at ease!
